The 1998 Annual Conference of the Australian Linguistic Society (ALS) was held at Emmanuel College, the University of Queensland, 3-5 July, just prior to ALI-98 (Australian Linguistics Institute). The first day of the conference was held as a joint session with ALAA-98, (Applied Linguistics Association of Australia) at Griffith University (Nathan Campus). |
Selected papers submitted for publication are electronically published here as Papers in Proceedings. These papers have been peer refereed by members of a Review Panel to DEETYA standards.
Due to the number of abstracts received, we have broken them up into four parts: A - D, E - L, M - P, and Q - Z. Abstracts are sorted alphabetically, according to the (first) author's last name.
