CENTENARY OF QUEENSLAND WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE 2005

Various activities are being or have been organised by a Steering Committee. These include:

• an essay competition for school students, through the Queensland History Teachers' Association

• a conference on Women's Struggle for the Vote in Queensland at the UQ Centre,
University of Queensland, 9-10 April 2005.

• a walking tour of suffragist sites with a brochure

• web resources and other new research on suffrage history, including this website
